The Supporters

Sometimes people come into the shop and tell me they’ve followed our story since the beginning.  So many people have been rooting for us for a very long time.  This community’s support has been incredible from the very start.

Not many people know that we went in front of the township zoning board for a different property about 6 months before our current one got approved.  It was shot down, and understandably so, due to its proximity to a neighborhood.  I really thought the dream was over at that point.  Despite searching for months, there were just no other properties that would check all the boxes.
I brought in a good friend for a second set of eyes.  This ended up being one of the best decisions of my life.  After hearing more no’s than you can count, we were at a standstill…but this friend is persistent.  His casual check-in on a property was received on just the right day for us to be informed that it was now available.  We jumped.  Within 48 hours we had a contractor and architect walkthrough and signed the papers a few days later.  The dream was alive again.

This friend is one of my best friends and now a partner in this business.  We wouldn’t be here without this guy.  This post is a nod to Jeff and to this awesome community, your support means everything to us!
